Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide, who will brief you on your upcoming safari before transferring you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax at the hotel or enjoy the peaceful surroundings overlooking Lake Victoria, Africa's largest freshwater lake.

After check-in, unwind from your journey and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart from Entebbe and embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's renowned "Medley of Wonders." The journey takes you through picturesque countryside, lush farmlands, and vibrant local towns, with opportunities to admire the beautiful landscapes along the way.

Arrive in Kasese in time for lunch before continuing to the park for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway, linking Lake Edward and Lake George, is famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and an incredible variety of bird species, offering excellent wildlife viewing and photography opportunities.

Later, enjoy an evening game drive across the park's savannah plains in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, and other wildlife as they become more active before sunset.

Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Rise early for breakfast before setting off on an exciting morning game drive through the diverse landscapes of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is also a paradise for bird lovers, with over 600 recorded bird species, making it one of Africa's premier birdwatching destinations.

Return to your lodge for lunch before spending the afternoon at leisure. Relax by the lodge, enjoy the tranquil surroundings, or take in the spectacular views of the park as you prepare for the next leg of your safari.

After breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and journey to the breathtaking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda, home to nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. The scenic drive takes you through the beautiful Kigezi Highlands, often referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa," with spectacular views of rolling hills, terraced farmlands, valleys, and traditional villages. Several stopovers will be made along the way for photography and to enjoy the stunning scenery.

Arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening and check in at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge. Spend the rest of the evening relaxing and preparing for the unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure awaiting you the following day.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing by experienced park rangers. Here, you will be assigned a gorilla family and receive important guidelines before setting off into the dense rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Carry your trekking gear, drinking water, and a packed lunch as you begin this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

The gorilla trek can take 2 to 7 hours, depending on the location and movement of the gorilla family. Once you find them, you will spend up to one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent primates in their natural habitat, watching their behavior and capturing incredible photographs.

After the trek, enjoy a fascinating Batwa Cultural Experience, where you'll meet the indigenous Batwa people, the original forest dwellers who lived alongside the mountain gorillas before the forest was gazetted as a national park. Learn about their traditional way of life, hunting techniques, music, dances, and rich cultural heritage during this immersive two-hour experience.

Later, transfer to the picturesque Lake Bunyonyi, where you'll check in at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort. Relax and take in the stunning views of one of Africa's most beautiful lakes before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out of your lodge and enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda before crossing into Rwanda via the Katuna/Gatuna Border. Continue to Kigali International Airport, passing through Rwanda's picturesque countryside and vibrant capital city.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a brief stop to purchase souvenirs or enjoy the beautiful views of the "Land of a Thousand Hills." Upon arrival at the airport, your driver-guide will assist you with your drop-off, marking the end of your unforgettable 6-Day Uganda Wildlife & Gorilla Safari.
